Historically, farming has largely been perceived as
a male-dominated industry. Stereotypes and preconceived notions are the reason
why, not many women, especially in South Africa are confident to pursue their
passion in farming. However, women are steadily challenging these stereotypes,
proving that their unique perspectives and talents can contribute to a thriving
farming industry...
INSERT[LEBO]...To overcome this, women have formed networks, cooperatives, and
organizations that provide financial, technical, and emotional support,
allowing them to overcome these obstacles collectively.
