The Namakwa District Municipality's Investment Conference that was postponed is set to be held between 20 and 21 November 2023. The municipality says the conference was postponed as a result of clashes with other provincial activities and summits. Communications Officer at the municipality Judeen Cloete, says the investment conference is a pivotal moment for the district, heralding a new era of growth, development, and investment opportunities. The municipality further states that through this platform the entity will unveil investment opportunities present in its diverse sectors as it is eager to showcase the district's potential. The Namakwa region boasts a rich tapestry of sectors, including mining, agriculture, tourism, renewable energy, and manufacturing. The municipality says it will thus through the investment conference platform create potential for investment and growth in each of these areas. The municipality said it is confident that the conference will serve as a platform for fruitful discussions, partnerships, and investments that will contribute to the economic advancement of the district and the broader SADC region.
