Coghsta hands over soccer kits to groblershoop high school

The Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs in the Northern Cape , together with the !Kheis Local Municipality today handed over soccer kits for the benefit of learners at the Groblershoop High School in the ZF Mgcawu District. According to a statement, the MEC for Coghsta in the province Bantley Vass was scheduled to attend the handover today but could not.  Communication officer for COGHSTA Tshenolo Meruti says, in his absence the MEC reiterated the importance of utilizing sports as an instrument of keeping learners in school, safe and educated and continued to note that such initiatives are at the centre of the Provincial Government’s efforts of ensuring young leaders of tomorrow are given tools to success. The official handover of the kits was conducted by the Mayor of !Kheis Local Municipality Cllr Davy Jacobs together with the regional manager of the ZFM District COGHSTA office Andre Pete.
