The Office of the Executive Mayor in Namakwa District Municipality says they are excited about the collaboration between the Office of the Premier and the Office of the MEC responsible for Youth, Women, Persons with Disabilities, Communication, and E-Government in the Northern Cape. The municipality says, together they are launching a Skills Development Project Roadshow that aims to empower and uplift the youth in the region. The municipality says, a roadshow will be hosted across the district, working hand in hand with the dedicated team to assist the learners with bursary applications, apprenticeship also learnership and guide the youth in applying for these essential skills development projects. The Namakwa District Municipality says the roadshow also has opportunities like Building and Civil Construction, Electrical Construction, Assistant ARC Welding, Plumbing and other. The deadline for the roadshow is the 19th of November 2023.
