The Northern Cape provincial police appointed brigadier
Lindikhaya Lamoen as the new provincial head for crime investigation services
on Monday, the 6th of November
2023.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant colonel Thabo Litabe says the provincial
commissioner Lieutenant general Koliswa Otola was accompanied by 2 of her deputies, major
general Henriette De Waal and major general Luntu Ngubelanga when they
conferred the new epaulettes to the senior manager in the presence
of senior managers of the province. Litabe says brigadier Lamoen joined police
in 1994 and has a wealth of experience in policing and the detective
environment. His appointment was effective from the first November 2023 and in
his new role, brigadier Lamoen will oversee the functioning of the detective
service throughout the province.
