The month of October presented the commemoration of the International Day of the Girl child on 11 October 2023 which is a day that focused attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls' empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights. Sisterhood heroines a non profit organization for the empowerment of women and girls in their local communities in the Pixley Ka Seme district municipal area. As a close off to the month of October , sisterhood Heroines gave credit where it's due to these young girls who are the Ambassadors of GBVF in De Aar from the Nonzwakazi Location. The organization held a graduation on Saturday, 4 November 2023, to empower and assure them that they are a generation that is creating GBVF free Zones through Skills development, youth dance, poetry and speech writing.
