The Masakhane Arts centre yesterday paid a visit to the Oasis Skills Development centre in Upington to conduct an outreach initiative for the youth who are cared for and attend school at the centre. Elcardo chulu managing leader at the Masakhane Arts centre says they conducted this initiative in an effort to show support to the learners at the centre as they hosted a talent show which served mainly as a fundraiser and also granted the students from the centre the opportunity to live out their artistic talents. Chulu says, they Masakhane did a collaborative dance performance with the students at the centre and also performed a drama piece of their own for the enjoyment of the students and all community m embers attending the talent show.
