The Premier
of the Northern Cape, Dr. Zamani Saul, is expected to be in Upington tomorrow.
Spokesperson to the premier, Bronwyn Thomas Abrahams says on behalf of the
Northern Cape provincial government, the premier will officially launch
the Bereka Mosha program in Upington. She says the program aims to
ensure that around 150 young people are provided with either employment
opportunities, internships and work across the province. Thomas Abrahams says
it will take place under the Vota Lotsha Brigade, the Financial and Accounting
Sector Education and Training Authority and the Department of Sports Art and
Culture. She says these programs will ensure that the youth are properly
skilled to ensure that they are ready for the labor market as well as provide
jobs to the youth which will positively address our youth employment
initiatives. The program is scheduled for 10:00 in the morning at the Moses
Links Community Hall in Upington.
