MEC of the department of roads and public works Fufe Makatong on friday visited the John Taolo Gaetsewe District, to do oversight on two of the school projects in Bankhara Bodulong and Magojaneng villages. According to an official statement by the department this particular visit came as a result of a number of issues raised by the residents, which have resulted to project delays and as a result hereof they visited the construction site of the Bankhara Primary School before heading to Magojaneng Primary school project where the MEC had a meeting with stakeholders and the broader community. The department also adds that through the MEC's intervention, work on site will start to resume with immediate effect from next week.
