Minister of Electricity, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, along with MECs for Economic Development in the Northern Cape and Eastern Cape addressed members of the media on the readiness of the Green Hydrogen Summit which is commencing today  until 18 October 2023 at Century City Convention Centre in Cape Town. In his remarks, MEC Abraham Vosloo articulated important strides taken by the Northern Cape Provincial Government in putting forward a solid case of the Northern Cape Green Hydrogen pathway as an important value proposition towards the development of Green Hydrogen and Ammonia in the next few years. The MEC used the session to officially launch the Northern Cape Green Hydrogen Masterplan which will pave a way for a Memorandum of Understanding between the province, the Eastern Cape and Western Cape, crystalizing areas of collaboration and cooperation on this important initiative.
