A 43 year old man David Bosman from Rosedale was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment at Upington regional court on the 29th of September 2023, for the murder of a 43 year old woman Elizabeth Bosman. According to a statement by police, the incident happened on the evening of the 13th August 2021 when the deceased arrived at home and allegedly started breaking the windows of the house. Police spokesperson sergeant Omphile Masegela says the deceased seemingly suffered from an undisclosed mental illness.
