Workers who are members of the South African Commercial Catering and Allied Workers Union (SACCAWU) inthe  ZF Mgcawu district handed over a memorandum of grievances to Red Ox restaurant in Upington today. Workers say they are frustrated by the situation in which the restaurant owner is treating them. Workers say the following............. "Insert" (WORKERS MEMORANDUM)The memorandum was read by the organizer in Upington Shadrack Segola who said the following.........."Insert" (SACCAWU LEADER)SACCAWU members were supported by SATAWU members and the organizer of SATAWU in Upington Thabo Seago says if the restaurant owner is not responding within 72 hours they will go back................"Insert" (SEAGO WORD)The memorandum was received by Rudolf Engelbrecht on behalf of his brother the restaurant owner Jan Lamburg who was in Bloemfontein due to other responsibilities. Engelbrecht said he will not comment after receiving the memorandum....."Insert" (NO COMMENT)
