The Dawid Kruiper municipality says, Statistics South Africa is currently assisting employees of the municipality on how to use statistics in their daily operations. The municipality says this is happening in a form of a training that will be conducted on a regular basis and can be expected that it be extended to all the officials of the Dawid Kruiper Municipality. Head of communications at the municipality, Patrick Williams says, statistics are important in service delivery and budgeting at a municipal level. Williams says the aim of this venture is thus to better service delivery within the municipal area.
