Police in Wrenchville and Mothibistad

Police in Wrenchville and Mothibistad in Kuruman in the John Taolo Gaetsewe district seized illicit cigarettes from a foreign national valued at more than R1 million rand. Police spokesperson sergeant Timoth Sam says an enquiry case was registered and being investigated awaiting verification by customs officials. Sam says police confiscated a firearm and ammunition from a 68 year old suspect in Deben. He says provincial commissioner Lieutenat general Koliswa Otola issued a stern warning to those harbouring illegal immigrants. He says numerous operational successes were achieved.
