The Joe Morolong Local Municipality joined by the John Taolo Gaetsewe Developmental Trust yesterday celebrated heritage day under theme " Celebrating our cultural diversity in a democratic South Africa" at the Bothetheletsa village. The municipality shared in an offcial statement that these proceedings were led by the CEO Tumelo Mpolokeng. The municipality further adds that the stakeholders that were present at these proceedings include Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, SASSA, IEC, JTG Developmental Trust and SAPS who all gave the attending residents at the event the opportunity to voice out the challenges that they face. Difficult government services were also rendered to the people ,thus giving access to their services at the event.
