Police in Roodepan crime arrested 5 suspects aged 30, 30, 40, 42 and 43 respectively for dealing in drugs yesterday, the 18th September 2023. Police spokesperson sergeant Molefi Shemane says drugs and cash believed to be the proceeds of crime were confiscated by the police. Shemane says all suspects will appear at Douglas, Kimberley and Galeshewe magistrates courts respectively soon. He says police urged members of the community to work together to report drug dealers and help break the vicious cycle of drug abuse in the communities. Shemane says for the communitt members to cooperate with the police in disrupting and dismantling the stolen goods market by making it impossible for thieves to sell the items that were stolen or robbed.
