The Northern Cape provincial government has today opened applications for the Transversal provincial  bursary. The bursary will enable youth that are financially and academically deserving the opportunity to gain access to tertiary education and obtain a qualification. Youth aged  between 18-35 are eligible to submit applications that are accessible from high schools, department of labour centres, thusong centres, TVET Colleges, GCIS, provincial government website and the office of the premier. The cost of bursaries will vary from 50 thousand rand to a 100 thousand depending on the total household income. The bursary will cover studies regarded as scarce and critical fields within the public and private sectors. The closing date for these bursaries is 17 November 2023
