Today marks the official launch of the Thusong Service Week at the Manne Dipico Thusong centre Kimberley, in the Francis Baard District.  Louis Botha, Deputy Directo,r Government Communications and Information Systems, Northern Cape says during this week, Thusong centres will be utilized  to encourage communities to get involved in clean-up campaigns and start community food gardens to alleviate food insecurity. This  9th service week is an integral program during the commemoration of Service month which is aimed at heightening the focus of putting public information in the hands of citizens. The service week will tomorrow be rolled out to the ZF Mgcawu district, in Langverwagt in the Kai Garib municipal area. The theme for the 2023 service week is '' Building a professional public service for quality service delivery"
