The department of water and sanitation is warning unemployed youth and those seeking employment to be vigilant and on the outlook for bogus employment recruiters claiming to be recruiting for a training program on behalf of the department. The department says in a statement, it has received various calls and email queries about an alleged mass training program which targets unemployed young people and is allegedly paying a salary of R 5 800 per month. Spokesperson for the department of water and sanitation Wisane Mavasa says all official employment adverts are placed on the department of public service and administration job circular and can also be found on the official website. Mavasa says the bogus recruiters are conducting an illegitimate and criminal recruitment process pretending as officials from the department while is not.
