The Northern - Cape department of Education says they are embarking on a provincial roadshow which started today and will continue until 19 October 2023. The department says in a statement, the roadshow is aimed at creating awareness on unclaimed pension benefits not claimed by departmental officials. The department says a lot of previous employed officials of the department have not claimed due benefits. The department says through this engagement, it intend to resolve the matter at hand. According to the department, the ZF Mgcawu district has approximately 600 unclaimed pension benefits.  The roadshow started in the Namakwa district, with the ZF Mgcawu district to follow between 4 and 5 October 2023 at the Postmasburg and Upington high school halls respectively.
