The Northern Cape Provincial Treasury yesterday held a Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Supply Chain Management Treatment of Irregular Expenditure Training in Kimberley. The purpose of the training is to assess the impact of the PFMA supply chain management treatment of irregular expenditure training which was previously held between 20 and 22 June 2023. The training is also to monitor the steps taken by the departments to address irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure. The training concluded with Director:Assets and Liabilities Walter Molelekwa awarding all officials from different departments with certificates who completed the training in PFMA Supply Chain Management Treatment of Irregular Expenditure.
