NC schools to benefit from in-school breakfast programme
Capitec Bank has partnered with Food Forward South Africa to launch a School Breakfast Programme aimed at assessing the impact of morning nutrition on learner performance in under performing high schools.
Based on the 2024 matric results, six underperforming high schools in the Northern Cape were selected to participate in the pilot programme. According to information, a total of 4,372 learners will benefit from this initiative and the schools identified are Reakantswe Secondary School, Banksdrift High School, Greenpoint High School, Homevale High School, Valspan High School, and Pampierstad High School.
The programme officially kicked off this morning at Greenpoint High School in Kimberley.
