ABC Motsepe SASCE choir championships is today underway in the John Taolo Gaetsewe district.

The ABC Motsepe South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod choir championships are officially underway today in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District, with both primary and high school choirs taking to the stage in a spirited competition.

Choirs are vying for a place in the upcoming provincial and national finals, scheduled for 5–6 June 2025 in Kimberley. Those who qualify will then advance to the National ABC Motsepe SASCE Championships, set to take place at Rhema Bible Church from 1–4 July 2025.

The department of education says, this vibrant event is more than just a musical competition—it is a key initiative of the Department, aimed at fostering social cohesion, unity, and cultural diversity among learners across South Africa.
