Louisvale Community Warns Against Tap Water Consumption
Residents of the Louisvale community have raised serious concerns about the safety of their tap water, advising others to avoid drinking it due to suspected contamination.
A local mother, who asked to remain anonymous, reported falling ill after consuming the tap water, along with her infant. Both experienced stomach cramps and abdominal discomfort shortly after ingestion, raising fears about potential health risks, especially for young children.
In response to these incidents, residents in the ZF Mgcawu area are urging others to consider alternative sources of drinking water.
Community members are encouraged to prioritize their health and well-being by taking appropriate steps to avoid potential exposure until the water quality concerns have been investigated and resolved by the relevant authorities.
The Dawid Kruiper Municipality have previously confirmed that water provided by the municipality are clean.
