100 Day Challenges to combat Gender based Violence
The non-profit organization End GBV Collective has officially launched the latest cycle of its groundbreaking 100-day Challenges, aimed at tackling gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) across South Africa.
Currently in full swing, municipalities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teams are actively conducting startup Workshops and setting ambitious, locally driven goals to address GBVF in their communities. These 100-Day Challenges focus on transforming intention into impact, fostering sustainable, community-owned solutions that lead to long-term system change.
In preparation for the upcoming cycle, new Challenge Strategists and team Coaches are being recruited and trained this week in the Northern Cape, equipping them with the tools and mindset to drive local innovation and accountability.
The official launch of cycle 4 is scheduled for 14 July, marking Day 1 of a focused, action-driven period of collaboration and measurable change.
