The department of roads and public works is hosting an expanded public works program provincial consultation session at Protea Hotel in Upington today. According to information, the implementation of EPWP has undergone 3 successful phases of 5 years each and the program is currently in the final year of Phase 4. The department says they are currently planning to make a greater impact in communities during Phase 5. The department says along with municipalities and  support agencies remains committed to eradicate the triple burden of poverty, unemployment and inequality.
